I've examined the top 100 list for every Squidoo topic category. I went to #100 in each list and looked at the overall lensrank, to see which top 100 lists would be easiest to break into.
Here's an example of how to use this information: By moving a lens from a category that has lenses under 2,000 lensrank, to one that has lenses under 10,000 lensrank, you might get more visibility for that lens. For instance, if your lens ranks 7000 in Business it won't show on the Business top 100 page - but if you move it to Work At Home - it will be in the top 100 there.

This is a very good tip and something I have done from time to time, when I have had a lens that would fit into more than one topic.
Linda - you may want to delete this comment once you have read it and I wont be at all offended :) - but I found it very difficult to find the link to enable me to comment - the colour of the link almost disappears into the background
